The last words and dying confession of Wm. Gross, who was executed on the 7th of February 1823, for the murder of Kesiah Stow, in the city of Philadelphia : being that which was given by Wm. Gross to Mr. Roberts, while under sentence of death, containing his full confession and experience while in prison, together with pathetic advice to young persons, and a farewell letter to his foster mother, which he signed but a few minutes before leaving the prison, to which is attached a fac similie of his last signature, also the hymn selected by himself to serve him in his last moments at the place of execution.
